My name is Ashley Bible, and I’m so glad you are here!
I’m an ELA Educator of 11+ years, Resource Creator, EDU Blogger, and bestselling author of Keeping the Wonder: An Educator’s Guide to Magical, Engaging, and Joyful Learning.
I believe in both fun and rigor at the secondary level and started my blog to prove these two concepts can live happily together in ELA classrooms around the world. With that said, I also believe a creative and effective learning environment shouldn’t take all of a teacher’s time, energy, or soul. Over the past ten years of my teaching experience, I have learned to work less with better results, and I love to inspire English teachers who are yearning for the same goal. This is my mission and I’m happy you have joined me!
When I’m not creating resources or planning my next workshop, you can find me watching HGTV and dreaming of renovating old houses near and far. While I’m a huge book nerd and do a lot of digital work, it brings me great pleasure to work with my hands and design beautiful spaces.
However, my husband Aaron, who is also a teacher, would much rather I focus on my other hobby which is planning trips to interesting places. It’s much less work and a lot more play on his part, ha!
And lastly, I’m a big animal lover and supporter of pet adoption. The little girl pictured above is named Joy, and that she is.
